How to Brew
How to Brew Qi Men Maofeng Tea:
- Preheat: Pour hot water into your teapot or teacup and swirl it around to warm the vessel. Discard the water.
- Measure Tea: Add one teaspoon of Qi Men Maofeng tea leaves into your teapot or teacup.
- Water Temperature: Heat the water to around 200°F (93°C), just below boiling.
- Steeping Time: Pour the hot water over the tea leaves and cover. Let it steep for about 3-5 minutes for a milder flavor or up to 7 minutes for a stronger brew.
- Enjoy: Once steeped, strain the tea into a cup. You can enjoy it plain or with a touch of honey or milk, depending on your preference.

As a Fan of experiences, the opportunity to personally open the box, take out a spoon of tea leaves, put them in a tea bag, tighten it and place it in my hot cup of water was a delight! As for the flavor, it matches the procedure and more: Smooth and sweet and honeyed.
